Ok, so now we are starting to get really get some ideas and earning some cash by offering the "best things to sell online" !

What is a business broker and how can you profit from doing so? Well, this idea is for those who are a little more hands on and like to approach people with services. Micro and small business is how America was built and these are the main prospects for your business brokering service.

You do not need to know how to perform the service, you just need to get a deal done and than contract the services out for others to perform.

For instance, Albert Hallado and I run a small marketing company that helps and assists business owners Get Seen on the web. If you can convince micro and small business owners to use our marketing expertise, we would cut you a hefty commission!

For instance, I specialize on search engine optimization and generating potential traffic to a small businesses website for a $500-$1000 dollar fee (depending on what they want).

If the job calls that I perform calls for a $500 dollar fee, you can turn around and charge the small business any reasonable amount and you would keep the difference! Let’s say you customer would like to learn how to get on Google’s™ 1st page for their site, I charge a simple fee of $500 dollars while you can turn around and charge $1000 dollars thereby keeping the difference of $500 dollars! No work other than lining up the deal and ensuring your client get’s what he/she ask for.

Let’s say your client needs a website. Albert and I charge for a business dynamic website $2000 dollars which includes getting that small business on the first 3 pages of Google within 60 days, you can charge a $3000 dollar fee for this as most web designers charge much more than that to get a site up, much less a dynamic site! Your fee in that deal would be $1000 dollars just for setting the deal up!

Because much of the work that we do takes place online, we do not have to be in your specific venue to make this happen. You just line them up and we will produce what they want, that’s it!

I did this when I was learning how to do certain tasks like website developing or writing content for sites. I even did "business brokering" type work long before the internet came about just by becoming the middleman and turning around and selling that product or service for a higher amount!

It’s actually pretty simple and the payout potential can be extremely lucrative,

Here are some more ideas that you can do being a business broker:

  1. finding potential foreclosures in your neighboorhood and then turning around and sell that lead to a real estate investor for $500-$1000 dollars. I’ve done this before and the term is called "bird-dogging".
  2. find potential leads for probate attorney’s by searching public records for recent parties who had to go through probate court because they did not have a "living trust". Attorney’s normal pay up to $200-$500 dollars for this lead. Once I figured out who to talk to down at the County recorder’s office, I had ton’s of leads for probate attprney’s and attorney’s who specialized in creating Living Trusts.
  3. basically selling items for people on ebay. many people don’t know how to get rid of their junk. If you simply create a "co-assignment" agreement with the potential seller, you can charge up to %50 of the profits that come from the sale.
  4. talking to real estate agents find potential tenants for their client’s rental homes. again I would use county recorder’s office to sift through potential foreclosures and have those people call the real estate agent to find them homes after their house was sold and foreclosed on. these types of leads are more prevelent in today’s rough economic situation.
  5. recently I called a mortgage lender for a friend of mine who was in the process of being foreclosed on. I negoitated the bank to modifiy the current exiting loan on my friend’s house, and slashed their mortgage by almost $500 dollars a month! Although I didn’t get paid on this one because of me being a friend to this person, it certainly can turn into a lucrative deal if you charge an upfront fee of $500.
  6. making business cards – I’ve never done this but I’ve seen the markup on business cards and it is simply astounding how much these guys markup a batch of 500 business cards. All this person did was add pictures to the business cards that was descriptive to the person’s profession. If you are handy with Photoshop™ or other types of graphics, you can simply create the template and send the template in the an online business card supplier like Vista™ cards.
  7. flyer designer’s and distributors – I worked for a company who did this when I was a young adult. They paid me $10 dollars an hour and I distributed flyers for them for 3 hours a day for 5 days. Again, if you can design flyers with a program like MS Publisher, and then find some kids to distribute the flyers for you for a cheap price, you can really setup a whole marketing company using only this one tactic. Think about how many businesses who would utilize this offer to have flyers distributed throughout a targeted territory.

Yes, a business broker does require you to talk to others about services that many would be glad to pay if they knew the benefit to them. Your only trick is to present those benefits that the customer can really see value in, and then simply outsource the work to experts who do the work for you!
